Tap @ CBC 2015. Pours pitch black with a big mocha head. Damn, this looks good! Aromas of dark chocolate, raw vanilla, salty caramel, malt, roast, coffee, woody notes. Taste is dark chocolate, vanilla, savory notes, dry woody notes, licorice, roast, malts.

Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, alcohol, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, chocolate, and a bit of coffee, leading to a dry roasted finish.

On tap at Peg’s Cycle BA Day. Pours black with small tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong whiskey, roast, wood. Thick body, chewy, roast, whiskey, dark chocolate, light vanilla in the finish, very nice.

Draught@CBC2015. Black colour, creamy brown head. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol, some nutty notes as well as wood and vanilla to it. Flavour is kind of similar, but also has some ripe fruits and a bit coffeeish notes to it.

CBC. Black with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, medium sweet, hop, whisky and medium bitter.

Keg at the 4th Copenhagen Beer Celebration, Session 3, 02/05/2015. Black topped with a dirty tan swirl. Nose is rich malt, bourbon, dark chocolate, spice, charr, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises rich chocolate, vanilla, toffee fudge, subtle barrel. Medium + body, fine carbonation, trace of a booze in a semi drying close. Top draw impy.

Tap at CBC 2015. Poured an oily dark brown with a thin whispy tan head. The aroma is rich malt, molasses, liqourice. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich roasty, dry coffee, chocolate oily mouthfeel palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation.
