Very well balanced. Nose ia tart fruity with hints of sweets. Sweet-sour with nice vineous flavors.

330 ml bottle. Dark unclear red, big fluffy foamy head. Dark ripe cherries, cassis, heavy red wine, aged balsamico vinegar, lime, very intense aromas. Fruity acidic sourness. Full bodied, lively carbonated, long intense finish, very complex. Great.

75cl bottle, near the BBQ, amber with a light brown head. aroma and taste of wood, sourness from the berries, wild yeast sourness, and wooden barrels, cherries, dry, a bit tart, it's a simple cherry version of the basic Rodenbach, nothing great about it.

Bottle from de Caigny. Almost clear ruby color, short frothy head. Aroma of some caramel and oak wood, bit cherry, some balsamic notes. Basically just a regular Rodenbach with some fruity cherries. Same goes for taste, not really sour, but not really sweet either. Rodenbach with cherries, thats all there is. Decent, but way overrated.

Bottle at home in the garden, from Brussels some where, 6th May 18. Pours a lovely reddish copper colour, small head. Aroma is cherry, cherry candy, barrel, oak. Taste is exquisite, cherry, light tart, cherry hard boiled sweets, some light tart notes, cherry stone, really smooth, barrel, oak. So delicious, love it.
