0.5 l bottle from the brewery, best before March 2016. Hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish-sourish, fruity-yeasty aroma of banana, cloves, some vanilla and pear. Sweetish, fruity-yeasty taste of banana, vanilla, pear and some clove, followed by a short, slightly sourish, yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and smooth mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Well-balanced, tasty and quaffable classic Weizen.

Cloudy pale yellow color with a fine white head. Nice lacing. Wheat, mild banana and some yeast in the aroma. Ok body and a fine carbonation. Fine balanced sweetness. Wheat, some yeast, mild banana and some clove in the flavor. Nice refreshing weisse.

Mild-weicher Antrunk. Leicht säuerlich, nette weiche Hefe-Anklänge an Nelke mit dunklen gelben Früchten (nicht explizit bananig). Sehr weich-mild. Im Nachgeschmack leichte Bitternuancen, schön weich-rund, mild und fruchtig ohne zu süß zu sein. Lecker!

Thanks to Erzengel for that bottle. Looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty-yeasty, a bit moldy. Some fruity notes of grapefruit. Finish well balanced. Okay.

Bottle (purchased at the Brauerei): Pale golden to golden, hazy, stable medium-sized white head, sourish-sweetish grainy-wheaty nose, covering a distinctive yeasty background; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, pretty light bodied; citrus fruits and a delicate bitterness in the wheaty-sourish finish. Drinkable...

(bottle) The dark Hefeweizen and the new pale Weizen carry the same labels and are only distinguishable from the dark or pale-coloured crown cap. Cloudy, light-orange colour with a big foamy white head. Yeasty, sweet and distinctively grainy aroma with citrus and banana and light to moderate wheaty accents. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, watery palate with a medium carbonation. Soft grainy, moderately wheaty and fruity taste, leading into a slim fruity and wheaty finish. No alternative to the Bavarian ones (25.08.08).

Bottle (trade with Koelschtrinker). Sweet orange, bubblegum, banana aroma. Cloudy orange-yellow color with small head. Stale wheat and clove flavor with hints of grapefruit and over-ripe banana - pretty dry for a Hefe. Nice - less sweet than average.

Diesem Weizenbier fehlt so ziemlich alles. Test vom 13.5.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,4,4,3,7,2
