Alright fuck it, I don’t do it often but here’s a tick of something I pulled out of the rot-box. A Pips mead that I’ve been saving just in case a mead share ever happens but hey I’ve given up waiting. Anyway, it’s a nice dark fruity berry deep dark purple with no head and an awesome fruity mead aroma smacking you around the nose before it’s even settled into the glass. Big tart blackberries dominate the foreground with the honey floral bees wax bees bum stuff behind. The gin barrel is balanced with the extremity of the rest but most noticeable when you have a sip and get the boozy finish. Heavy, strong, extreme, tart fruits and sweet honey coming together into some silliness that I’m really enjoying but am damn glad I don’t drink regularly. Ah what a treat, see you the other side guys..

Bottle shared by Yaniv, thanks! Pours a near clear dark purple with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a gin barrel and dark currant with a bit of sweet honey supporting. Flavor great slightly tart currant and nice gin barrel with growing sweet honey.
No i zdziwko, bo mam wrazenie, ze mniej beczki niz w tej drugiej wersji, zreszta ona glownie w dosc przyprawowo-ostrych posmakach. Za to strasznie intensywny, slodki, owocowowy, gesty, gladki... leciutka kwaskowosc. Klasa wielka acz na probki do picia

Bottle @ Dry January share. Pours super dark red, still. Aromas of straight black currants, vanilla, oak, citrus, floral notes. Taste has lots of sweet honey, black currants, fruity and heavy acidity, tannins, floral notes, citrus, oaky vanilla finish. Intense and maybe a little too acidic but damn

Pours extremely dark purple. Smell is full, very Berry forward. Taste is full, intense, super thick. Mild booze. Sharp, touch acidity by the berries' full on honey in the back.

Bottle thanks to Sills. Pours a dark purple with no head. The aroma is strong oak, currant, earth. Medium body, nice sweetness, oak, currants, enjoyed this.

200ml bottle thanks to Darrel. Pours out a sexy purple red color. Nose is great big black currants sweet honey notes and some gin touch. Tatse is more of the nice big black currants sweet honey notes, lots of fruit.
