450ml bottle @ Urozhai Restaurant, Sheremetyevo Airport. Pours dark brown, almost balck, some brown foam on the top there. Deep roasted nose, lots of molasses here, burnt sugar and burnt caramel. Light peaty feel and hint of something tart. Pretty nice nose if you ask me. Taste has maybe slightly too much of this acidic edge to it, still roasty, molasses and liquorice but feels thinner because of that sourish body. Bitterness is good, roast plus some hop character. Overall, decent porter.

500ml bottle, IBU 30, kindly shared by Stig. The oily pour reveals a near-black coloured body with a decent tan-coloured head leaving rings of lace down the glass. Roasted malty nose with molasses. Mixed taste of dark bread, molasses and dark fruits. Roasted dark malty ending with a bite of ash. Medium bodied. Pretty nice. (Shared with TheCellarer, Isak and Stig, Breiviklia, Tromsø 24.11.2017).

On tap at Latvia Beerfest 2017. Very dark mahogany coloured, close to black, with a modest, beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, roasted malt, dark bread and hints of tar and licorice. Medium to moderate sweet with medium flavour intensity and a somewhat dry and moderate bitter finish. Quite nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Port Artur (Порт Артур) on 24 May 2017 at 19:45 - Score: 6
