Breakfast Stout – The very first breakfast stout brewed on the island of Crete was created in collaboration with VERO CEREAL and KROSS COFFEE ROASTERS. We used five different types of malt and oat. The coffee aromas that arise from the beer were inspired by the special roasted Colombian coffee from KROSS COFFEE ROASTERS. This exceptional stout ages well, developing a refined complexity and intense aromas. With powerful notes of roasted malts, coffee, caramel and chocolate, its surprisingly soft aroma combines a warm roundness with a refreshing taste.

27 September 2019. Bottle from B is for Beer, Chania, Crete. Hotel room tasting. Shared with the lovely Anke! Pours hazy black with a very thin, frothy, tan head. Aroma of toast, fondant, coffee roast, roasted nuts, earth. Taste is medium roasted bitter, lots of coffee, fondant, a bit powdery, on top of 'brown' bready & toasty maltiness; somewhat sourish & metallic but not disturbing. Dry, earthy hoppy finish, lingering toast & coffee. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Does what can be expected.

bottle from supermarket outside chania. aroma is sweet roasted malts and flowery hops, chocolate and minerla water. Very nice and quite clean aroma. appears chocolate brown, small brown head. flavor is chocolate, faint salty note, mild malts, good roasted black bread bready yeasty base. Very nice mild yet flavorful stout, sort of like a guinness but with more flavors, especially more chocolate and roasted notes. Very dry, none of the sweet hard roasted malty flavors you might get from an imperial stout. good one. Many mild stouts are sort of boring and too much of a brown ale, but this one really has body and flavor, yet is mild. good job!

Black, slightly oily with small beige head. Roast, choc and coffee aroma. Roasted flavour, a little coffee, a little licorice. Long roasted finish. Ok flavourful but feels a little thin.

Black color withe beige brown head. Malty aroma, roasted, milk chocolate, cocoa, light coffee. Sweet and light bitter taste. Light to medium almost oily body with soft carbonation.
