Dry-hopping
After five weeks of lagering, this beer undergoes a freeze distillation process where the water is extracted. From there, the newly created ice bock is dry hopped, meaning it is combined with fresh hops in a lager tank and left for weeks to develop and absorb the wonderful hop aromas.

From bottle at home thanks to sinh4. Hazy orange color with off white head. Malty aroma, grainy, caramel, light hoppy, citrus, light pine, vanilla (in taste). Sweet and light bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

0,33 l bottle purchased at Hof Luckmann, Bissendorf. Shared with Kristall-König. Unclear bright orange in the glass, nearly no head. Strong alcoholic nose, fruity. Taste starts smooth, malt with honey, fruity, bisquit, marzipan. Increasing alcoholic. But no real IPA bitterness. Strong and really interesting.

330 ml bottle shared by Werckmeister, thanks!
Amber to copper, moderate hazy body, with a medium, creamy, a bit lacing, yellowish head.
Aroma of orange, dried fruits, biscuit, honey, some vanilla.
Taste follows this, with subtle citrus and booze.
Quite full, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes boozy, sweet, hoppy, fruity.
Nice one. Sweet and boozy, with hoppy notes. Similar to the other Iced IPAs, except that this is even a bit more boozy. Good, but too strong to drink this again for what it offers.

0,33l bottle at home shared with Saeglopur. BB 12/2019. dark amber light hazy color, small off-white head. smells fruity, alcoholic, resin, light dried fruits, raisins, nuts, marzipan, mango, light herbs, decent smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of stale hops, sweetness, fruity notes, resin, alcohol, spices, banana. finishes alcoholic and with some sweetness with notes of resin and some fruitiness. decent stuff, overall not so much different than all the other Iced IPAs a bit more alcoholic though.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Slovak crew (Gurthnar, Cuso and Miro) and Marko. Golden coloured, small white head, sweet and alcoholic nose. Sweet and sticky with strong alcohol presence. Notes of fruits, caramel and discreet hops. Too sweet for my taste.

2012. Enormous thanks to Cuso, Gurthnar and Miro. Full orange-golden body, misty, small white head. Sticky malty aroma, alcohol, slightly creamy, light orange. grainy, oxidized. The taste is more or less the same, with scant traces of anything resembling hops, but somehow, despite the obvious strength and being malt-driven and aged, it’s not stale or musty at all. Light alcohol for the body. Feel it less than in the Saphir 2013. Actually quite good if you’re into that stuff. I’m not, but I can respect it.

Bottle. Aroma is mostly like a barley wine. Orange colour. High bitterness in taste, resiny citrusy hops flavour, also lots and lots of dried fruits. Lasting dry finish. Alcohol is beginning to come out.
