Bottled at Pressklubben, Stockholm. Hazy pale golden, mid sized head. Light grassy nose. Sweet with light-medium body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Sugar, grass, marzipan, elderflowers and grain. Peppery finish.

Bottle @ home. Almost clear yellow golden color, average sized white head that diminishes quickly. Smell and taste malts, quite sweet, somewhat floral and perfumy. Average to decent body and carbonation. Hmm not my kind of Tripel but an ok beer.

Thick off-white head, dense, over hazy golden beer. End of bottle solid yeast. Drainwater, dry spices, old, dusty hops. Caramel, sugarsyrup, molasses, alcohol, scorched sugar. Medium bodied, syrupy slick. Wààààày too sweet. Why? Where are the hops? (Note: not a question of aging, well within the BBDate.)

Troebel geel bier zonder schuim. Smaak is licht zoet, kruidig en bitter hoppig met iets van sinaasappel en mandarijn. Ook sporen van honing zijn te herkennen.

Pours rather clear blonde, small white head. Smell is bit of Sharp maltyness, some hops as well. Taste is bit bitter , turns very malty, rather dry but has a certain honey-like sweetness to it. Nicely doen, but less my thing than the ones i had before.

330 ml. bottle drank @ Bahnhove. Hazy orange, small white head. Nose is orange peel, light booze, touch peach, esters, grainy, overly malty for me. Taste is overly boozy & yeasty (part of this I blame on the waiter who decided to pour the whole bottle in one go), yeast dominates here heavily, boozy overripe peach, aspirin, nasty plaster yeast, tad mold, old cereal, oxidized honey. Body is overly yeast. Yeah… Too bad, I do suspect that even without the yeast shot, I would have written down the same comment, even with a yeast shot, a beer shouldn’t be this yeasty, boozy, mold / plaster tasting. The brewery does deserve the benefit of doubt. I tried 4 of their beers in a setting. 2 were messy & unbalanced but pleasant. The beers in BE styles had this whole yeast, esters, booze thing going on.
