Raspberry Bière du Pays is our restrained approach to a fruited Saison. We added a thoughtful amount of Black and Red Raspberries to our Bière du Pays to not cloud the nuances of our lovely little beer, but to add a layer of soft fruit and color for a new experience. Our Missouri yeast and bacteria provide the layers of complexity to this farmhouse ale that was aged on oak for several months before being naturally conditioned in this bottle.

750mL bottle, Blend #2, drunk 5/26/23. Clear raspberry-cranberry. Off-white head immediately fizzles out. Nose is gentle with prominent, not overly acidic raspberry. It's actually surprisingly mild with good juiciness and light honey and white bread-like malts to easily balance. No alcohol. Soft, malty, tart with raspberry acidity but no real bacterial acidity (just light lactic). Good brett, soft, slick, wheat-like textures with good depth and attenuation. No real overt oak character but it helps the overall picture. Actually, the more it warms and breathes the more the oak comes out. Nutty, tannic but with such a soft texture. It won't go down as the most exciting raspberry, but it's not too acidic and the beer is a bit aged at this point, so credit there.

Flaska från Side Project, b3. Guldfärgad med en gnutta rosa-röd ton. Superlätt och oerhört lättdrucket. Viss ton av gurkspad, och knappt någon direkt hallonton. Törstsläckare.

Part of a large tasting at the brewery while visiting the parents. Enjoyed many of the beers while catching up with my Mom. Great stuff all around.

Taster at bottle share. Not as wowed as some by this. Pale golde. pinkish pour. Raspeberries throughout the aroma and taste. Saison apparent under neath the berries, with some of the nice yeasty notes.

Bottle shared at Andrew's B-day bash. Pours a clearish light copper with reddish tones and small white head that lingers. Tart raspberry nose with some light citrus and funky yeast. Slightly creamy oak on the palate with more tart, young raspberry and bright fruit notes. Refreshing carbonation with a vinous sparkling wine texture. Lingering raspberry skin and seed on the finish with some tannic notes alongside the tart. Would be even better with some age.

From tap at the brewery. Light hazy ruby red color with pinkish head. Yeasty and malty aroma, wood, tart berries, funky, sweet fruity and vanilla notes too. Light sweet and moderate to heavy acidic fruity taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
