vintage bottle april 2015 no best before date tasted march 2024 sweet with lots of depth fruity aroma, red berrries, leather, aroma is a bit like old fashioned US fruit ales before they got more sour and wild. flavor is tart, bretty, fruity sour, leather, fruit stone, wood. a lot more fruit stone than expected and not that sour not that tart. perhaps the aging has toned down the fruity parts, left the more woody leathery parts behind. Tastes pretty good though, a good wild/sour sipper.

Bottle at home shared with Drebus. Clear dark orange to light reddish color, no head. Aroma is hayish, funk, horse blanket. Flavor is sourish fruity. Can't really identify blueberries tbh. Not bad but less good than expected from crooked stave.

Bottle, 0.375l. Aroma of barnyard, yeast, wood, cereals, leather and berries. Pours cloudy pale mahogany color with totally diminishing off-white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts tart citrusy, funky and vinous, following is woody and berry-like with crisp and rather dry mouthfeel. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Small treasure...
