Asylum Saison is an unpasteurized beer with a cloudy orange color. Its aroma is fruity and sour, with hints of yeast. Its refreshing taste balances between malt and citrus, giving the mouth a wonderful freshness. Its light dryness is accompanied by the delicate bitterness with the spicy note in the aftertaste, completing its beautiful taste palette.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks troubles. Golden. Fruitiness, yeast, some phenolic spiciness, sweetish, bitterish touch, medium-bodied.

5/12/2018. Bottle from Barley Cargo, Athens. Pours dark gold with a foamy just off-white head. Aroma of caramel, yeast, lemon, pepper, light spice and herb. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, touch of sour. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. Dry, slightly marmalade finish. Not an in your face beer, very subtle, would even use the word delicate. Enjoyable overall.

330 ml bottle at Zythos Dore, Thessaloniki. Light hazy golden color with white head. Malty and light yeasty aroma, citrus, honey, light herbal spicy. Sweet and bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma has a lot of esters, with floral notes, saison yeast and light candied sugar. Flavour is a little lest estery, with light floral notes, saison yeast and biscuity malt. Nicely constructed, with a fairly dry finish. Decent.
