From tap at BEERA Bar, Riga. Roasty aroma with cocoa, chocolate, touch of mocha and coffee. Moderate bittersweet, medium body. Could be more full, pleasant roasty aroma though. Chocolate, roast, coffee, fine Stout.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a smallish, rough, beige head. Sweet chocolate roast nose with a vanilla touch. Rich body, heavy dark chocolate, pleasant degree of roastiness and again vanilla. Subdued bitterness. Lovely, straight and well made Imperial Stout. 261022

Bottle from a liquor store in Athens, Greece. Drunk at 47 Studios after a nice tapas-like dinner of Spanish/Greek fusion food. Oily black, almost no head. Nose is slightly sweet, molasses and roasted malt & coffee. The flavor is velvety smooth and sweet like chocolate cake, very low carb, nice mid complexity with no soy notes, no hints of the high abv, a dangerously drinkable ten percenter. Nice roasted chocolate malt notes, trending to the sweeter side but with a bit of bitterness and roasty goodness on the aftertaste. Thanks Fin for the tip on this brewery!

Bottle picked up from Ponte Café Bistro, Parga, Greece and consumed at home Wednesday 21st October 2020 listening to Gold Panda and cooking a Spaghetti Bolognese. Pours pitch black with a small rapidly departing tan head. Rich nose, comprises of sticky dark fruits and a little tobacco. Sweet with chocolate, a little bit of coffee,, sweet liquorice, a hint of black pepper, dark rich cocoa powder, smooth easy drinking, really good Impy Stout.
