On tap @ Olles Gamla Stan. Sour (in a bad way), dirty and trying to hide it with hops.

(Draught at O’Leary’s Fridhemsplan, Stockholm, 29 March 2014) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of apricots, tea and leafy hops. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, crystal malt and fresh floral hops in a finish with a balanced bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Hardly exceptional, but tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Keg at O’Learys, Goteborg Airport, 23/03/14. Clear orange amber with a moderate off white covering that clears to edgework. Nose is melon, lightly toasted malt, bitter orange twang, straw, light hops, caramel. Taste comprises melon, orange, light pear notes, bread dough, hint of peach, muted hop presence. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Mediocre stuff.

On tap at O’Leary’s,Arlanda. Clear golden body with a nice, dense white head. Weak in aroma, grain/cerals with a hint of fruit, especially oranges. Flavor has a plain, biscuit maltiness with a hint of oranges and low bitterness. Medium body and short in aftertaste. OK, so it’s a beer made for celebrating a sports bar chain – do not sport fans like good beer? There is really not much challenging flavors to be found here, rather boring I’m afraid to say.

Draught at Olearys (Fridhemsplan and Gamla Stan) Pours golden with a White head. Clean and drinkable ale, hoppyness dominated by oranges, also some grassy notes. A bit soapy when I first had it at Fridhemsplan.
