Beer from my place of study. I think it is better than his reputation. Especially on warm summer days highly drinkable and refreshing. Better than most of the Kölsch. I would drink it again.

Ot tap at the brewpub. The beer is nice cloudy and very pale, nearly white. Nice head. The nose is disgusting - the beer stinks! If I would have smelled longer, I would have gotten sick… The beer itself starts neutral, slightly yeasty. The mainpart can best be compared to river water, brackish water…. something like that. Slightly like Witbier. Old brie. The aftertaste is medium, slightly obtrusive.
--> in direct comparison to the "Weihnachtsbier" this one is disgusting! Not drinkable at all! --> 2/10/1/2

On tap at the brewhouse. Hazy golden colour with small, frothy, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy aroma, a touch of ’Sauerkraut’. Taste is grainy, strawy, minimally sourish with a touch of lemon, very decent fruity note, apple or the like.

Tap: Pale golden, hoppy-fruity nose, small + lacy head, some malt in the aroma, light bodied and a bit fizzy, mild bitter-sweet finish, a tinge of cabbage in the aftertaste. Drinkable, but pretty boring.......

Draught at the brauhaus
Cloudy blond color; generous head. It has a nice malt aroma, mild but partially crispy, and with some hops and bread. The flavor, although mild, is also malty, with a trace of cereals and grass; the mouthfeel is round (as it can get for a Kölsch). Correct bitterness. But the final is a bit too weak. Quite good.
