Draft @ the brewery. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate spicy aroma. Roasted malty spicy chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty oaty chocolate finish.

4 oz pour on draft at Faction during the RateBeer Best 2017 bus tour. Black with tan head. Aromas of caramel, chocolate, roasted coffee. Tastes of chocolate, roasty notes, caramel. Medium body with a dry finish. Nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is roasted malt, cocoa, cracker. Medium body, wood, dark chocolate, roast finish, nice sweetness, very good.

Tap st Preserve in Winters, CA. Pours dark Brn/blk with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate and toasty malt. Med + body. Flavor matches aroma, but it has a nice hop bite. For me it’s finishing towards dry and bitter. Noe stout.

Sample at Culmination Fest: Poured a dark brown almost black with a beige head. Aroma was strong malts, coffee, and chocolate. Taste was similar with malts, light coffee, and a smooth milky chocolate finish.
