Bomber from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours very dark coppery with a transient off-white head. Mild cola aroma - but more like rye. Med body. Flavor seems like a rye doppelbock. Not that I may ever have had one, but ... Fairly dry; roasty semi-dark malt. Reasonably tasty. Not to be avoided.

From tap at Hopwater, San Francisco. Clear copper brown color with off white to light beige head. Malty and light hoppy aroma, grainy, caramel, light grassy. Sweet and light bitter taste. Light to medium thin to oily body with soft carbonation.

Tape. Pours clear darkish Amber, medium creamy of white head, nice lacing. Malty aroma, hints of corn. Flavor also malty, light plus sweet, a bit of a bite from the eye, lots of corn. Medium body. Not bad.
