We are extremely excited to offer Single Shot this evening - a beautifully balanced coffee stout made with a special blend of our favorite coffees! It pours super dark in the glass unleashing a fluffy, mocha-like head. We experience flavors and aromas of rich chocolate, cold brewed coffee, and coffee ice cream. Single Shot is exceptionally creamy on the palate while maintaining a lightness that leaves you wanting more… a true treat in the can paired with the embrace of early season cold air!

Among the best stouts and certainly the best coffee stout that I have tried. Very rich flavor without the aftertaste that tends to characterize many stouts. Lives up to the description of "creamy" as it was advertised. This is a great beer, something that I cannot understate the importance of trying.

Small tan head over virtually black beer. Coffee, black chocolate, super-intense, cacao, vanilla. Coffee pralines, perfect marriage between chocolate & coffee, mocha, vanilla an a bit of holly. Very thick, slick, feels better bodied than it probably is; good carbonaton. OK, but rather for the sweet tooth. 8/4/7/4/14

Can, by way of a trade. Very dark, clear, cola brown. Film and halo of dense, tan head. Nose has woody, earthy coffee grinds. Fresh coffee bean. Dark, cherry chocolate. Some vanilla pod. Some vine fruits. Taste has some lactic sweetness. Turns dry, and coffee bean bitter. Sticky mouthfeel. Pretty smooth, given the amount of coffee in here. Sticky sweet, and robust, earthy bitterness on the finish. Never my favourite style of beer, but I can’t imagine it can get much better than this one.

Can, pours black with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of espresso upfront, followed by roast. Flavour brings out lots of espresso beans upfront, followed by medium roast. Nicely constructed. Really good.

Canette 473ml. Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka fuyante. Arôme d’espresso, malt torréfié, café crème. Goût de malt torréfié, espresso, amertume moyenne, sucré (un peu trop?), pointe d’alcool. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen-dense.

Can. It pours a dark brown color with a brown head. The aroma is nutty with some chocolate fudge. The flavor is smooth with lots of chocolate and more coffee than in the aroma. Sweet cream on the palate. No bitterness. Very rich and creamy. Good stuff.

Can. Pours opaque black, medium tan head, creamy but diminishes quickly, nice residual and lacing. Aroma is coffee, mocha, lactose, hints of ashtray. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, loads of mocha and milk sugars, coffee, roasted malts. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Quite tasty.

Can courtesy of Hackobock. Happy accident with a can bound for a trade breaking giving us the chance to try it. Pours tiny hazy very dark brown with a frothy pale mocha head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and roasty with roasted malts, caramel, dark roast coffee, rich not too dark chocolate, dried bilberries, minerals and hints of sweet liquorice candy. taste is sweet, tiny bitter, malty and tiny earthy. Mouthfeel is soft, round, velvety and medium bodied. finish is slightly sweet and slightly bitter with balanced roast, complex berry rich voffee, milk chocolate and liquorice. Very good very balanced coffee stout.

Intensiver Kaffeegeruch. Süßliche Kaffeenoten, deutlich weniger intensiv als nach den Geruch erwartet. Süßlich bleibend, etwas hefig. Sehr eigen, gut. 11/11/11/10//11
