Sour Pete ’11 a ruby brown with a wisp of a beige head. The nose is sour, somewhat weizenbock banana bread-ish then hints of peated malts. The taste is sour tart berries and chocolate spread. Chocolate fudge, bready tart  - Quite nice.

From cask at Brasserie 4:20, Rome. Dark brown color with red notes and beige head. Funky - sour fruity aroma, vinous with barnyard notes. Taste is light sweet and light sour, fruity wineous again. Light to medium body, oily, soft carbonation, bitter finish.

[10/15/13] Hand-pump at Brasserie 4:20 in Rome. Black with a tiny bit of tan foam. Aroma of some heavily roasted malt, funk, wood and a bit of vinegar notes. Sour flavor, somewhat woody, with a bit of vinegar, a bit of fruitiness, a bit of roastiness and light coffee hints. Medium-bodied. Pretty smooth, alcohol is rather well-hidden.

On tap @ Schouskjelleren. This is a deep dark ruby brown one with a small brown top. Sour red currants on the nose, I get wood and lots of that zingy vinegar. Definitely smells like a oud bruin. Soft small prickling carbonation with a slick oily mouthfeel. The taste is woody with some sour dusty chocolate. It's really refreshing late at night and highly enjoyable - and and not to forget a bit different from what I was expecting. (one hand rating) 02.03.2013

On tap at Schouskjelleren, Oslo. Has a black colour with a small khaki head. Has a aroma of a proper sour ale with leather, wood and rowanberries. Fantastic! The flavour follows up with the same and is sour with lots of berries. Nice one! Has a slick mouth feel, and a tart light berry bitterness. This is really one of a kind beer. Smells and tastes as a nice and proper sour ale but looks like an imperial stout!
