0.5 l bottle. Poured pale yellow body with smaller head. Standard pale lager aroma of some citrus and extremely faint malt. Flavor quite similar, watery, bitterish, very plain and boring although not offensive. Pretty carbonated with short and watery finish. Well, this is better than I expected, as was not offensive at all, but so damn boring and watery specially when you don’t need a thirst quencher.

0.5l bottle from Presoflex (thanks to ozujsko for the tip). Poured a medium to big unstable white fluffy head that went away fast. Yellow colour. Initially quite fizzy, but the carbonation went lazy soon. The nose was nothing special malt and dust. Boring. Taste.... hmm... There’s inconsistency between batches, there’s even apparently intrabatch inconsistency, but I haven’t seen taste this inconsistent from one bottle since Meteor. Started off empty, metallic and lemony (boring as expected), but some hoppy bite showed through and suddenly the taste was dominated by a gush of some variety of hops that was far from spectacular (the taste still retained the metallic and lemony "quality"). And then it all came back to the old emptiness, and hops showed themselves only in the aftertaste (mildly though). Then my mother poured herself a glass and I tried it again... oily and yeasty with some lemony hints... disgusting. This was from the same bottle, people. Damn odd, but not good. Normally, I’d do some research to see if this was the same thing as StaroČeško, Jurakovo Pivo and that other Daruvarska supermarket beer like the alcohol would suggest, but this won’t happen soon. It tastes nothing like StaroČeško and I won’t be getting it soon again. Why? Because a) The shop is far from my dorm. b) The staff wasn’t friendly (the guy who stacked the shelves with beer and liquor started talking about how they didn’t have it because they didn’t get it in months, etc. etc., and I found two crates of this right next to him (but not that visible)). c) I doubt my opinion would change much. The one odd thing about this plain beer is that the (plain) label claimed 180kj. I’ve never seen that calories thing printed on beer here before (well, I didn’t pay attention).
