Smile (2020+)

Bottle from some Mercator. Clear golden body, bit pale, white head. Stale aroma, apple notes, bit corny, lightly cardboardy, but primarily sweetish, with stale apple notes. Initially dry but soon stupidly sweet taste, traces of corn, lightly prickly carbonation. Impressively useless, I mean, why would they bring their worst beer ever back and make it potentially worse? Ah... marketing people I guess.

Bottled 330ml. -from Mercator Brežice, shared with hrabren. Pale golden coloured, small white head, sweet corn and cardboard in the nose. Sweet corn and cardboard taste with notes of vegetables and sweet finish. Hardly drinkable.

0.33 l bottle thanks to Ogi, shared with him. Clear pale golden, minimal head. Cardboard and wet corn flakes aroma. Some sweetness. Bland. Abrupt finish. Terrible.

Renewed version: Clear golden, small white head. Grassy nose with some metal-lemony presence. Hints of bitterness, slight sourny touch and metal finish. Well, it it what it is. Old version: Pours a clear golden color topped with a small and quickly settling white head. The aroma is malty and very skunky. Just not nice. Has a sort of acid feel. The taste is sweet at first, some acid present in the body. The finish slightly bitter. Supposed to be refreshing and light, but I don’t really like it.

Lime, dead, shit, watery

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma is grainy, dusty, skunky, vegetably and grassy. Pours clear pale golden color with medium sized soapy white head, nice lacing and sparkling appearance. Tastes sweet worty, vegetably, faint citrusy and grassy with smooth and mild spicy mouthfeel and mild bitter finish. Light body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Only crying...

Bottle, 0.33l. 4.5% ABV. Clear yellow pour, two finger soapy white head, short lasting. No lacing on the glass. Malt, herbs and grains on the nose, pretty much your average lager. Thin body, medium to high carbonation. Lively, prickly on the tongue. Light and watery texture. Mild bittersweet taste and aroma. Lager malt, grains, hay. Grass, cardboard. A bit metallic. Not much of a finish to speak of. Well, nothing much to say about this one. Pretty much your average industrial macro lager. When served ice cold it might serve as a good thirst quecher, say, after work or after workout. It might, but.... It doesn't. Why? Because it comes in a 0.33l bottle and that makes it pretty much useless. Just smile and go for regular or unfiltered Union instead.

0,33l bottle. New, 4,5% ABV version. Pours light yellow with couple of fingers of white, quickly dissipating head. Aroma of cardboard, a bit of malt. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is watery, carbonation average and finish short.
