Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 19A). Bottle 33cl - Batch L60403 (BBF 6-17). AROMA: predominant oxidized hop aroma with notes of dried grass leaves, followed by a overly-caramelized malt presence. APPEARANCE: amber color and clear. medium ivory head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with notes of oxidized hops and caramelized malt. medium-low bitterness with a slightly bitter and almost dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a beer at the end of its shelf life that needs re-tasting.

Tap at Kaapse festival. Clear amber with off white head. Grassy hops, light citrus, soft toast, caramel. It’s quite dry with the hops clearly taking the foreground, even though they’re not that great. Very light sweet and medium bitter. Under medium bodied with a bit watery feel. Meh.

Slightly funky for the style but this impresses me and I can drink a lot.

Ambar oscura, espuma poco duradera. Rico aroma acaramelada, notas herbales agradables. En boca tiene un trago muy facil, y resulta muy agradable y equlibrada. Caramelo, lupulo resionoso y herbal de amargor y sabor moderado.
