Bottled@RBESG 2008 Grand Tasting
Hazy yellow color, no head. Limonade-like orange aroma. Fizzy, fruity, orange-flavored. Crisp, a bit yeasty. Refreshing, but not really "monk-like".

Bottle, RBESG08 grand tasting. Murky golden body. Light lemony, somewhat grainy nose. Pleasant malty taste with some not all that pleasant eggy notes and a light hoppy bitterness. A bit spicy too. Just ok.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2007
Muddy blond color. Strong aroma, malt, dry, coriander, juniper. Not sticky, but quite sweet anyway, with some malt, and the yeast leaves some fruitness; almonds, sweet oranges, orange blossoms. Highly chaotic, but enjoyable. Lightly Belgian.

Draught at KØ07. Hazy orange colour. Nice and big, stable, creamy head. Good mouthfeel, creamy like a rye beer. Peppery flavour, some alcohol. The flavour is bready and still reminds me of a rye beer. Perhaps a rye bock.

Draft. An unclear orange beer with a lazing orange head. The aroma is sweet spicy - especially coriander coming thru, but also with quite strong notes of yeast, and lesser notes of alcohol and citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, spices (primarily coriander), and citrus. The mouthfeel is very smooth. An OK Abbey ale - maybe a bit on the simple side.
