Copper brown clear color, good creamy white head. Metallic, sweet malty aroma. Malty, a bit sweet flavor. Quite ordinary, but well-made Czech pale lager.

From tap at Plachetnice, Pilsen. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is hoppy and cornish. Flavour holds a nice hoppy bitterness and mild dry malt base. Light caramel malt note. Ends dry and bitter.

On tap at that Krušovice pub near Na Parkanu (Plachetnice?), courtesy of ogivlado (thanks!) Amber-orange body, lightly coppery. Medium sized thick white head. Slightly sourish and dusty hoppy nose. Light, bitterish taste. Somewhat pleasant if ordinary sweet maltiness ending in dry hopiness. Just ok overall.

Beautiful amber colour with large head. On the label it says extra horky, it is meant to be extra bitter. I think it is not bitter, it is a lovelly malty and full-bodied lager with slightly dray and hopy finish.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm) Golden yellow colour leaning in the amber direction, firm white head. Malty nose with notes of herbal hops and slightly toasty hints. Malty, herbal taste with lightly roasted caramel notes and grassy hops in a fairly dry finish. Not really exciting, but still enjoyable.

Draught at MacKinley’s Inn, Stockholm. Clear deep golden, rocky head. Evident saaz hop aroma. Fairy sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel. There’s a touch of vegetables before drying saaz hops sets in. Light to medum bodied with medium bitterness. Possesses just a mere hint of the character that made Krusovice famous before the commercialization set in.
