From tap at Hrozen. Pours hazy to cloudy with a lacing white head. Butterish and mild malty aroma. Flavour is mild fruity and with a light bitterness following. Less dominant butter in the flavour compared to the aroma. Ends dry and light fruity.

Draught at Vinarna Hrozen, Plzen Hazy pale gold. Thin white head. Diacetyl aroma. OK hoppy lager, but mostly a diacetyl bomb. Flavour has some hop, but overall butter. If you got rid of the butter then it would be pretty good.

Plastic Canister. Slightly hazy golden colour, mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is diacetyl, toffee and grass in a very nice mix. Flavour is bigtime grass with some diacetyl, malts and yeast lurking in the background. A beautifully balanced brew.

From plastic canister at Vinarna Hrozen, Plzen.
The last, eleventh beer of the Vinarna Hrozen tasting at the RBESG 2008. Pale golden coloured, small white head. Soft malty and strong hay taste with notes of butterscotch and barnyard. In comparison with other 10 beers tried in Hrozen, this one goes somewhere in the middle.

Beer no.11 at the RBESG Vinarna Hrozen tasting. Poured a murky yellow body with a medium-small white head . A buttery nose with some rice crispies. Quite pungent. The taste was nice enough too, rice crispies and butter with a nice hop bitterness. Again, thought it was quite nice, but it didn’t rock my boat, maybe because it was so long into the tasting.

Served from plastic canister at Vinarna Hrozen. Cloudy golden, small head. Concentrated hay aroma. Densely malty with just the right amount of oily butterscotch. Finishes with medium biterness. The superb malt softness in combination with the rich flavours makes this beer a standout amongst Czech pale beers.
