From tap at Kaapse Brouwers, Rotterdam. Thought I'd rated this from tasting notes, but I guess not. Aroma is big sweet caramel malt, toffee, candysugar, sweet dried fruits, notes of hops, raisins. Flavour is sweet and mildly bitter. Body is above medium. Nice sweettooth Barleywine, dessert beer.

Draught @ BAF 2017 [ Borefts After Festival: BAF! ] @ Brouwerij Kaapse, Veerlaan 19-D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Kaapse Jeremiah P. ].Unclear medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, bread, cookie, sweet malt, roasted, vegetable - sharp - floral. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sharp, dark malt, bread. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20170924] 6-3-6-3-12

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ BAF 2017. Darker amber brown, creamy tanned head. Nose is herbal leaves, syrup, herbal malt syrup. Taste is herbal boozy malt syrup, body is the same, dark bread, thick herbal. Weird but nice, far nice than most Kaapse beers.

Tap. Hazy brown-amber color with beige head. Aroma is malty, fruity, flowery, chocolate. Taste is fudge, raisins, prunes. Silky mouthfeel, medium carbonation.

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted malty, light herbal. Sweet, slight citric note. Bitter, toasted dark malty. Roasted, dense malty and caramelish finish.

Draught @ De Molen. Nice red-brown color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly sweet, light malt grainy bitter. Quite nice.

Tap at Kaapse 3rd Anniversary. Clear dark brown with no head left. Sweet caramel malts, syruppy sweet. Big sweet and light bitter. Over medium body. Low carbonation.

Tap at Kaapse festival. Clear deep reddish brown with no real head. Smoked malts, grapes, marzipan, sweet red berries, some alcohol, UK hops. Quite sweet but a decent amount of balancing bitterness. Full bodied.

Draft at Kaapse 3 year anniversary festival. Near clear dark amber with no head. Aroma of malt, toffee, caramel, light overripe dark fruits and brown sugar. Flavour is heavy sweet. Medium bodied with barely any carbonation.
