Beer House´s elite class of half-dark beer. The strenght and the bouquet of flavors of this variety is achieved in natural way by increasing the percentage of malt added during the brewing process. This drink was loved by Prussian king who considered it to be worthy of the Royal Brewery. (alc 6.0- 6.2 %)

Hazed dark golden color with a fine off white head. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and an average carbonation. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Bready, fruity and toffee in the flavor.

25cl draft sample @ BH, Tallinn. Léger orangé, col crémeux blanc. Arôme offre un fin malté, avec encore une petite note de beurre, grains en rétro avec encore et toujours ce côté ’clean’ houblon noble. Palais est léger malté, cara pils et cara, houblonné noble sur touche verte fraiche et un petit rappel sucre résiduel.

On tap. Amber color, good white foam. Aroma: caramel and malt, yeast and a little fruit. Taste: strong, malty, warming, alco.

Draught @ the brewpub
Aroma is quite nothing with hayish notes and toffee. Perhaps some grainy notes too. Flavour has toffee and buttery tones. Feels sticky and sweetish. Some hops after some sips. Nothing that differs from the other beers of this brewery.

50cl on tap at Beer House, Tallinn. Pretty clear amber with an off-white head. Malty and caramelly aroma with lightly hoppy and spicy notes. Lightly fruity & floral with some roasty notes and a hint of honey too. A bit on the sweet side, flavour of caramel and malt. The finish is lightly dry with a pleasant bitterness. Quite decent and easy to drink, but not exciting. (2012-11-17)

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy deep golden, small head. Spicy hop aroma. Sweet and fryuty with some honey and solid body. Rathe rbold where honey and spicy hops make up most of the flavour. MIld bitterness.

Hazy golden body. Bready nose, light yeastiness. Sweet malty taste with very light hopiness. Boring.

(Draught at the brewpub) I’m fairly certain that the list claimed this had 6 % ABV. Poured golden and lightly hazy with medium sized and white head. Aroma was sweet with some notes of alchohol. Palate was medium bodied wiht medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, fresh malts, hint of molasses, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter.

Bottled (thanks Aija & Saku). Orangeish golden colour with mediumsized foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet bready malts along with some floral and grassy hops as well as some notes of herbs. Flavour is sweetidsh malts, mild yeasty notes, herbs and rather grassy and hayish notes towards the finish.
