Bottiglia. Un arco olfattivo dominato dalla castagna. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine, con carbonazione persistente ed insistita. Il colore è ambrato carico tendente marrone. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro non è invasivo. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Il tetto della bocca riconosce impressioni di miele, frutta secca, un accenno di resinoso quasi balsamico, erba, agrumi, castagna e affumicato.

Bottle from the Beer8 shop in Genoa, shared with heavy Poured a hazy copper/amber body with a small white head. The nose is malty, very bready and generally nice. The taste is sweet, malty and dryish, with a very soft mouthfeel. Bit chalky, slightly lemony too, surrounding with some dull hop. Interesting, slightly watery.

11/10 0.5 l bottle from Beer8 shop, Genova. It poured slightly hazy orange to brownish body with smaller head. Nice caramel, roasted sugar and biscuit aroma with note of something that might be the chestnut. Slightly bitter to sweet as of that strange dusty malty chestnut flavor. Slightly fruity as well. Pretty watery though. Shorter, slightly toasty bittersweet finish. Fine, but definitely another beer that lacks body.

Bottle. Quite smoked rum/plum aroma. Thin body. Fruity flavour, plum, apricot? Golden colour, bit of yeast residue.

Hazy gold beer; white head leaving good lace. Piney nose - like sea-pine in the dunes - and bog-myrtle. Smokey flavour, pale malts, some dry sherry flavour that seems characteristic for chestnutbeers. Rather light bodied, but again, slick, like the grist suspended in the mash. That’s a nice try. It’s seems better than the Corsican Pietra, and I liked that one already. Grazie, Lorenzo
