Das dunkle Starkbier erhält sein Aroma aus kräftig geröstetem Malz. Durch sein süßlichen und vollmundigen Geschmack ist es das ideale Getränk für kalte Wintertage.

330ml bottle. Clear, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge, minimally doughy yeasty overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, dark malty with a minimally grainy touch and mildly bitter hoppy, hints of malt lozenge, a touch of burnt caramel; dry, almost a bit metallic-repellent finish.
Watery texture, smooth and minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Quite simple and monotonous, not much body for a Bock - so-so.

“Rosen Bock“, Fläschchen vom Markgrafen-Getränkemarkt, Triptis. - Dunkles Goldbraun, klar. (24.8.2019.)

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle! Fresh malty grainy beginning. Nice caramel brown sugary dry, moderate bitter. Easy to drink,. fresh. The higher alcohol leads to a full body, round and refreshing, very nice caramelly dry brown.

Small bottle. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts fine malty, strong, but not alcoholic. Light soapy notes, not too intense. Grasy background. Finish well balanced. Quite drinkable. Nice.

Bottle from trade with pivnizub, dekuji. Dark golden color with thick white head. Sweet malty aroma with honey and some spices. Taste sweet malt, honey, spices, alcohol. Touch of bitterness in dry alcoholic finish. Good.

Bottle. Amber, low offwhite creamy head. Fruity malt and honey base, light aromatics, fitting bitterhop finish. Fullbodied chewy, mellow mouthfeel. Pleasant, but not overly exiting.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear deep golden colour, mid-sized off-white head. Sweet and malty with some bitterness. Grainy touch and a touch of bacon (?), perhaps very very slightly smoky.
