Tap at the brewpub, Vienna. Pours hazy gold with a fine, white head. Spicy nose, some fruit, some apricot, coriander, grass, light citrus. Medium sweet flavor, great balance, more grass, light pine and citrus, spices, light straw, bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Crisp, lightly sticky finish, some grassy and spicy hops. Medium duration lasting bitterness. Great stuff.

1516, draught. Hazy golden body, small white head. Fine sweet soapy spicy nose. Reminds me of a spiced mead I’ve had recently. Sweetish malty spicy taste, bitterish aftertaste that seems to come from the spices as much as from hops. The soft malty background connects everything nicely. It’s damn juicy overall. Heck, I like this more than I expected.
