Bottle, 0.5l. Dark brown pour, two finger creamy beige head. Long lasting, very good retention. Solid lacing as it goes down. Nice on the nose, mild roasty, some subtle fruity notes, cocoa in the background. A bit woody. Thin body, medium carbonation. Light mouthfeel, average texture. A bit on the watery side. Medium roasty bitter taste with slight fruity sour notes. Aroma of caramel and roasted malt, dark fruits and berries. Slight woody notes, a bit nutty. Mild cocoa. Fruity aftertaste. Short to medium finish, mild alcohol presence. Good and easily drinkable porter. A bit on the light side though, definitely not robust. Decent.

Sample draft @ Mali Grad Taproom.

Tasting at Ljubljana Beer and Whiskey Festival 2015. Black, nearly opaque. Off white head. Dominating hops, less malty, no fruity hints at first. Some blueberries develop, sweet. Light with a malty-fruity finish. Interesting, but not spectacular.

Bottle, 0.50l. Pours murky dark brown color with medium soapy tan-like head and poor lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla, licorice and grapefruit. Taste starts light sweet fruity and grainy, follows by roasted malt and dark chocolate with rather dry mouthfeel and mild bitter finish. Light to medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Not really robust, but certainly quaffable, positive surprise for sure...

On tap at Ljubljanski Festival Piva 2015. Shared with Marko. Almost black coloured, small pale beige head, discreet touch of chocolate in the nose. Roasted malt, coffee, chocolate with notes of hops and caramel. Not so robust but pleasant.

Dark brown to black colored, weak tan head, quite large bubbles. Aroma is chocolate and roasted malts, some citrus hops. Taste is medium- sweet caramel, chocolate and roasted malts, low floral and citrus hops with low to medium bitterness. Roasted bitter dry finish. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Strong in the way of the hop for a Porter.

Ljubljanski Festival Piva 2015. Shared with Ogivlado. Murky dark brown with an off white head. Fruity, jammy aroma, vaguely roasty, a hint of alcohol. Quite nice! Slightly creamy, malty taste, caramel, herbal, vague bitterness. Ah, shame, smells very good, the taste isn’t quite there yet.

Pours a deep black color, topped with average cream colored head. Roasted malts in the aroma with some coffee and grassy notes in the back. Later on some chocolate and dried fruits as well. Moderately roasty, solid hoppy bitterness and quite soury grainy feel in the taste. Lasting roasty aftertaste. Medium full and silky. A bit different, but decently enjoyable.
