50cl bottle at Rucola, Tallinn. Pours deep golden with a modest, fast dissipating, white head. Sweet and malty with notes of caramel and hints of ripe fruits and hops. Not too pleasant, but still drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of La Forte on 30 Jun 2018 at 16:22 - Score: 5

Flasche gekauft in einem Supermarkt in Venedig. Goldenes klares Bernstein. Kein Schaum. Etwas Hochsteigende Kohlensäure. Aroma: Fruchtsaft, Pfirsich, Apfel, Malz, etwas säuerlich. Geschmack: Malz, Süßlich, ein wenig Frucht. Antrunk leicht sprudelig und Ansätze von cremig.

Bottle, 0.50l. Clear amber color with medium soapy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of grass, honey, wort, cooked vegetables and paper. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel malt and honey, follows by cooked vegetables and dust, while finish is quite bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Tastes quite similar to non alcoholic beers, just a bit stronger...

Leftovers from the trip to Verona, Italy. 2 months past the expiration date. Pours orange gold from the bottle. A rich and creamy head makes a good initial impression, although this later fades without a trace. The aroma is malty and very much in the direction of red grape juice. The grape flavor comes through in the taste as well which is sweetish, but otherwise unremarkable and ends with a short lightly bitter finish. The relatively strong ABV of 6.7 is amazingly well disguised. My 50cl bottle was empty in a flash so it can’t be all bad, especially if you like malty beer, but it lacks the balance needed to really be recommendable.

Bottled 500ml. -from Area 12 Torino. Darker golden coloured, small white head, slight malty nose. Sweetish malty, grainy, cardboard and touch of alcohol with rather sweet finish. So-so.

Found in a supermarket in Trieste. Pours a bit darker golden color, topped with a decent white foamy head. Malty aroma, sweet and some resin presence. A hint of alcohol, but hardly noticeable. Taste is sweet and malty, mild bitterness in the finish. Alcohol well hidden. Actually not that bad, to be honest.

Thanks Ogi! Poured a golden body with a medium sized thick white head, lasting. Sweetish grainy malty aroma, light fruitiness, no alcohol so far. Taste... hm, remarkably lean, empty, vague herbal/lemony notes are a plus, some maltiness, honey, vaguely dusty. Yeah, quite thing for the strength. Quite OK for what it is! One would expect a clusterfuck from a contract brewer like this, but they actually made a mild effort here!
