Aug. ’16. On tap at BeerYard Festival, Zagreb. It poured a very dark reddish body with medium sized off white head. Honey, caramel and light herbal/papery hop aroma. Flavor was sweetish malty, sugar, caramel, honey, touched with metal that didn’t messed it too much, alongside with light hop presence. A little bit yeasty only. Medium to full in body with longer caramel finish. Quite a long time since I had the regular Crveno to compare it well, but this one was pretty good, too and judging by my old rating, the same elegant caramel malt is still there.

At the Brewers’ Conference & Beer Fair in Zagreb. Murky darker amber/brown body, colour-wise closer to a dunkel so I moved it there. Light, papery aroma (typical for Staročeško), very vague tart lemon touch. Flowery papery mild taste, actually nice, nice maltiness. Again, like this, fresh and unfiltered, it’s an ok drink, better than it usually is.
