Dieser Speierling Apfelwein wird nach unserem alten Müller-Familienrezept hergestellt. Vorwiegend aus den naturbelassenen, kleinen und herzhaft aromatischen Äpfeln der Wetterau wird unser Apfelwein im eigenen Haus gekeltert.

Bottle 100 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a short, quickly dissipating, white head. Dry, clean apple aroma. Medium body, again very clean, dry apple notes with a light tartness. But more dry than tart. Refreshing. 150325

Spritziger, deutlich säuerlich apfeliger Antrunk. Vollmundig, die Säure bleibt konstant auf hohem Level. Besonders zum Ende trocken. Grüner Apfel. Gut! 9/10/11/11/6/11

Vielen Dank an Erzengel fürs Teilen! Klare goldgelbe Farbe, kein Schaum. Geruch dezent fruchtig, Äpfel, gering säuerlich. Geschmack fruchtig säuerlich, Äpfel, leicht trocken, geringe Karbonisation.

Nice sour and very tart beginning. The Speierling-Aroma is present the whole time, nice sour-astringent, fresh. Nice sourish-fruity apples, tart, not many tannins. The aftertaste is great sour, the Speierling comes through very well. Not too deep in the apple-flavour, but nice sourish-fresh and very dry.

At the Krokodil in Marburg. Pale golden body. Light dusty apple nose. Light sourish taste with vague sweet red apple notes underneath, and those notes are actually quite lovely, but buried under too much sourness for their own good. A shame.

Bottle(purchased at the cidery): Pale golden, very clear, no head, dryish but mild sourish-fruity nose, apples detectable, that’s understood, and a very faint grassy-hayish(!) background; sourish-tart flavour, not too light bodied; a small amount of warming alcohol is detectable in the sourish and slightly adstringent ("Speierling" = "Service tree") finish. A good one…

(bottle, 100cl) Clear, yellow colour without head. Mildly sour apple-fruity aroma. Moderately sour-tart flavour, light bodied without carbonation. Dry and moderately sour apple-fruity Speierling-taste; acidic and almost a bit astringently tart finish. 09.X.10

Bottle, 5.5%. Very pale yellow colour. Mild apple core aroma. The flavour is quite dry, citric and slightly watery. Has some sulfur, but tastes all right.
