Bottle @ Home. Pours dark brown, no head, lacings. Aroma of honey, caramel, light almond, alcohol. Flavor is rather sweet, honey, caramel, almond, flowers, alchol. Full body, oily mouthfeel, flat carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 040516

Clear nutty color with no head. Candy and honey in the aroma. Not to inviting actually. Thick oily body and a well hidden alcohol. Quite sweet, but not cloying. Candy, fruity and honey in the flavor. Nice with some ice cream and coffee in the afternoon.

Bottle. Aroma alcoholic, nutty. Clear brown colour. Taste is easy, sweet, eventually a bit sharp alcohol, but not too unpleasant. Ok mead to drink, but no big delicacy.

At the big Tesco in central Bratislava. This one is apparently brewed with hops. Golden-brown body, somewhat dark for a mead, still. Buttery spicy nose, raisins. The taste is a nice surprise after that, sure, still buttery, but carrying berry-muffin-like notes, on top of some regular notes of fermented honey and a big alcohol burn... more warming than expected. Likable stuff.
