On tap at Shanghai Fast Food, pours a clear piss yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out straw, biscuity malt and light cereal sweetness. Flavour is clean, with straw, cereal graininess and biscuity malt. Dry and clean - drinkable. But it's a pale lager.

At the Black Sheep (a nice place indeed), as their house beer. Dirt cheap compared to the other beers. And this time, the taste showed why. Hazy yellow-golden body with a small white head. Herbal aroma, vegetables, yeast. Taste... light herbal notes, eggy, dry and somewhat tart, showing clear early signs of infection. Well, damn. Will rerate next time I’m in Montenegro, but it definitely seems to vary wildly in quality.

On tap at the Budva outlet and at Black Sheep, Tivat, as they house beer. It was lightly hazy pale yellow colored with a small head. Aroma of unpasteurized herbal hops, quite pleasant, lightly yeasty and grainy. Flavor was lightly sour unpasteurized, lightly grainy with honey, chalky-yogurt yeasty and also lightly bitter herbal. Thinner in body with a shorter finish, but pleasant smooth herbal dry and light honey malty. A decent brewpub helles, both tasted were in the good shape.

Heller süßlicher Antrunk, leicht malzig. Steigend bitter, weich bleibend. Hefig, die verhaltene Süße bleibt erhalten. Süffig, eher kurzer Nachhall. 10/8/10/9//9

Draught at Shangai Restaurant in Budva-Montenegro. Ciao mortlach, markoijelena and luttonm. Pours a semi filtered yellow color close to gold, tick and persistent white cap. Nose: mild grainy notes of malt, bottom fermentation yeast, quite nice. Mouth: a bit confusing I have to admit. Lactic, yogurt, bitter blast and some veggies. Pity. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

They have an outlet in Bar, which is where we had this one. Cloudy and pale yellow. The big head dies down to very little. The aroma is peachy, yoghurty, yeasty kit beer stuff. The taste is sweet, yeasty, slightly fruity. Fresh kit beer that had probably received adequate lagering since it was at the end of the tourist season, but this type of beer can only get so good.
