On tap at Opatovina Beer Fest Zagreb 2016. Old rate from the notebook. Dark brown (almost black) coloured, small beige head, light caramel nutty nose. Sweet malty, candy like caramel, light citrusy and fruity with rather dry finish. Ok beer.

On tap at Opatovina beer fest, Zagreb. Pours dark brown with medium beige head. Malty, caramel, toffee, chocolate, pine. Sweet. Moderate dry bitter finish. Medium bodied.

On tap at Hmeljevo ’16. It poured a hazy dark red hued, almost black body with medium to small brown head. Weaker but fine caramel and fruity aroma touched with some lightly roasted malt. Flavor was lightly sweet, caramel, cocoa, light chocolate with some spices, especially mint and herbal and pine hops. Lightly watery. Thin to medium bodied with moderately long finish, dominated by toasted malt over herbal and pine bitterness. Quite a nice and refreshing brown ale.

Brown-dark brown colored, medium creamy tan head, good lasting and nice lacing. Aroma is of malt and toffee, citrus and floral notes, bit grassy. Taste is medium sweet malt, caramel and some toffee, toasty and light chocolate, some citrus and floral hops but overall too grassy, medium bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation. On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Dark brown, off-white head. Medium to heavily hopped, citrus, light brown sugar, caramel. Medium body, creamy texture, light roasty finish.

On tap at Craft Room’s stand on the Opatovina Beer fest on Friday. Thanks Mario M.! Poured a chestnut brown body with a tan head. Flowery, doughy aroma, slightly otasty. Same taste, malty, good dry finish, herbal notes. Medium aftertaste. OK beer, just a tad too dry.
