Aug. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle as Sindikat Wheat, thanks Marko for giving away! It poured a hazy orange to amber body with a small head. Fine banana and coriander aroma with a touch of salt and spices like cloves and maybe black pepper. Flavor was very lightly sour and sweet estery, with banana, coriander and fine caramel to honey malt, too. Just a little bit of chalky yeast here, still quite full in body. Honey started to play more important role in its moderately long finish, along with a peculiar but very pleasant peppery note. I also added in my notes how it’s so much closer to a Hefeweizen than a Witbier, but now I see it’s declared as one here, regardless of the bottle label. A very pleasant, full bodied wheat ale anyhow.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with kajser27. As Sindikat Wheat Beer. Orange/golden coloured, medium sized white to off-white head, apple in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, apple, banana, slightly yoghurty and notes of wheat in the finish. Pretty messy brew.

As Sindikat Wheat. Cloudy, brown colored, medium white frothy head. Aroma is of wheat, fruity banana and apple, some clove and yeast, bit bready. Taste is medium sweet wheat, some banana, apple, some clove, quite yeasty, some bread, bit sugar and toasted notes. Medium bodied, soft+ carbonation, bit watery. Nothing special... (bottle, thanks Marko)

Sindikat Wheat. On tap at the 2. Novosadski festival zanatskog piva. Classic hefweizen appearance more or less. Murky golden body with a thick white head, small though. Juicy, creamy apricot and banana in the aroma. Creamy aroma too, cloves, spicy, sweetish, juicy, vague banana perhaps too... Just wow! According to the brewery, they apparently tweaked their wheat a lot and what I’ve had on May 21st 2016 is pretty much a world class wheat beer. Flawless, juicy, enjoyable. I hope others get to try and rerate this and that they keep the level of quality of this beer that they have shown at the festival!

Sehr bananiger Antrunk, schon künstlich wirkend. Dabei gleichzeitig bitter und trocken, die Hefigkeit bleibt bis zum Ende stark. Monoton. 9/6/6/6//6

On tap in Belgrade-Serbia. Dark golden cloudy. White gassy head. Nose: ripped banana, a bit citric. Mouth: banana syrup. Re-rated end of May 2016 at a festival in Novi Sad (Serbia) on tap and in bottle. Cloudy light amber pour, similar to a bright orange. Medium foam. Nose: peers, esters, sweet banana and cloves. typical weizen with more sweet notes. Mouth: juicy banana, wheat, lovely craft weizen with much character. I agree, huge improvement! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
