Draught @ 8th. BBF 2016 [ 8th Borefts Beer Festival 2016 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As La Pirata / Kaapse Piet ].Light unclear medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, frutiy hops, tangarine, light meat - smoke. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration, dried fruit, hoppy, pale malt, orange - tangarine peel, smoke - meat notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160923] 7-3-6-3-13

Golden color, white head with good retention. Aroma has notes of light citrus with notes of yeast. Flavor with light tangerine, good bitterness and some yeasty hints. Fruity final with mild bitterness.

Borefts VIII. Day 1. Keg. Light haze on this gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth sweetish malts, touch of cream. Good spicy pine hops. Well integrated passion fruit, pineapple and mango. Spicy dry finish. Very nice!

Sample at Borefts 2016. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is fresh tropical fruit, woody hop. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a woody hop citrus palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at Borefts Bier Festival, 2016. Pours hazy orange with small off-white head. Quite hoppy, fruity, tropical fruit, some pine, yeast, bit spicy. Bitter finish. Medium bodied.

[9/24/16] Draught sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2016 in Bodegraven. Day two. Hazy golden. Aroma of wood, spiciness, some fruitiness. Sweetish flavor, spicy, woody, with some alcohol and a bitter fruity hops finish. Medium-bodied.
