(Thx! for sharing) Sampled bottled @ Gents Bierfestival 2015. Light hazy amber, little head. Nose is very big on sourness, vinous, red wine, vinegar & very sour berries, puckering but quite lovely. Taste is puckering sour berries, vinegar, vinous, sour wild berries, oak, fruity but not really picking up apricots form the whole,… Light, thinned body, puckering. Straightforward & quite nice. I cannot resist joking about having a beer this sour as a wedding beer – quite nice in all seriousness.

No head left, faintly veiled cognac-coloured. Acetic & lactic acids, alcohol & fusels, fruit on alcohol. Sour dominating (lactic and citrus) brown candi sugar, wood, alcohol & fusels, very complex. Fruit, but I cannot say apricot. Not really full-bodied (acidthinning?), alcoholwarmth, oily. Nose is a tad harsh, rest is a marriage made in heaven.

22/VIII/15 - 50cl bottle @ 6de Gents Bierfestival - BB: V/2020 (2015-1105)
Clear deep orange to amber beer, some big irregular bubbles, pretty stable. Aroma: sourish, earthy, funky, woody, orange peel, dried fruits, pretty oxidized. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very oxidized first, bit sweet, very sourish, fruity, orange peel, lemony acidic. Aftertaste: sourish, bit earthy, funky, very nice fruitiness lingering in the end. I quite enjoyed this!
