Intense greens of fresh hops bursting with fruitiness filled his senses. Rich yellows and golds of malted barley adding subtle sweet tones to the vibrant coloured show. The setting sun started to turn red and, as its light subsided, he was filled with a mellow bitterness and the blues of wanting more.

(Keg at Ota Olut 2017) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, creamy toffee, citricness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A nice hoppy pale ale.

Keg from the Three Johns, Angel. Dark gold, slightly hazy, with a small ring of white head. Dank scent with mango and papaya to the fore. Bitter taste, but nice,y balanced. Stats bitter to the long finish, with kumquat and blood orange notes in the aftertaste. Reasonably heavy carbonation. A nicely put together IPA and my 200th I believe :)

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Fruity citrus aroma. A light and opaque amber. Bubbly white head. Starts off low key before a juicy citrus bitterness kicks in. Smooths with some juicy sweetness. Light bodied. Slick. Moderate carbonation. Long dry finish. Good stuff.
