Pours hazy bronze colour with a moderate white head. Low retention. Nose: banana, esters, caramel, clove, apples. Light body. Watery texture. Taste: similar to the aroma. Low bitterness. Inoffensive. Industrial.

Canned 500ml. -as Schwanenbräu Hefe Dunkel, courtesy of and shared with Marko, thanks. Pale amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, light caramel, some trace of yeast and dried fruits with sweetish finish. Surprisingly ok beer.

Schwanenbräu Hefe Dunkel (L174, 22.6.2016). Žabac Food Outlet. Murky-misty brown-amber body, off white head. Milk caramel aroma, no esters. Soft, flat taste, caramel driven, no esters. Just sweet (mainly) wheat maltiness and that's it. Not drinkable really, dead. Way different taste-wise from Sankt Bartholomäus and Eichbaum, even if it IS batch to batch variation (L174 to L175A or whatever). 5/3/4/1/8Schloss Fels Hefeweissbier Dunkel (L180, 28.6.2016). Žabac Food Outlet, naturally. Clearest and most amber of the bunch, slightly brownish amber all in all. Big white head, uneven, medium retention. The looker of the bunch. Plum and apple aroma on caramel, relatively clean. Flat taste, muddy caramel, just tired, trace esters. Watery. Hah. All of these actually differ taste-wise, but the margins aren't that big. 5/4/4/10
