WHITE RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT

Another day, another collab. This time we teamed up with our good friends from St. Petersburg, we wanted to create a beer that would throw off your senses, something to make you doubt what you smell, taste and see. A White Imperial Stout packed full of cocoa beans, vanilla beans, tonka beans as well as coffee beans. This beer has all the characteristics of a full bodied imperial stout, whilst at the same time being white.

MALT: Pilsner, Carapils, Carahell, Oats, Lactose
HOPS: Chinook
YEAST: American Ale

Can at L6 Tasting, thanks, 21/03/19. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is white chocolate, toasted malts, caramel, light white peppery spice. Taste comprises more white chocolate, sugars, caramel, airy malts, sweet notes. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of booze. Passable affair but nothing I'd return to, a touch 1 trick.

330ml can from Jawsspot Msk in Moscow. Pours hazy gold with no head. It’s like pouring some kind of cream soup. Aroma is cocoa, vanilla, milk. Taste is medium sweet, milky coffee, white chocolate, vanilla. Alcohol is very hard to perceive. Good one.
