Bottleat KØ18. Mild sweet liquorice aroma. Black colour. Seems cloudy. No head. The flavour has a mild liquorice note. Not sweet and definitely not salty. Fruity finish.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ pre TEODRBSG15 ] @ fonefan & Brugmansia House, Denmark. [ As Holbæk Winterstout ].Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted. roasted, ash, cigar smoke, smoke. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart fruit - berry, roasted, smoke. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20150828]

Bottle at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2015, Ulfborg. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma of tart dark fruit, floral notes and garbage. Flavour is light moderate sweet and sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy dark brown a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, herbal and spicy. Flavor is quite sweet and light acidic. Sweet and light acidic finish. 280815

Säuerlicher, wenig malziger Antrunk. Kräutrig, erdig. Durch die anscheinend ungewollte Säuerlichkeit wird im Mittelteil langsam aber sicher das Malz als letztes Aroma verdrängt, unrund. 9/7/6/6/9/6

Sampled @ Danish Summer Gathering 2015 Trübes orangebraunes Bier mit einer geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch rauchig malzig, röstmalzig, Gewürze. Geschmack leicht säuerlich malzig, Karamell, dezent rauchig, Lakritz, ungewöhnlich.

Sampled at 8th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg 2015. Bottle. Nice dark red-brown color with a medium sized beige head. Aroma is malts, peat, paint. Taste malts, sourish, unrepentant fruits. Can’t be intentional. Not good.

Bottle. Poured black with a small light brown head. Aroma was very weak with some roasted malt notes. Flavor also had roasted malts with an undertone of spice, I am guessing the sage.
