25/2/2023. Bottle from Marek. Shared at SBGP1. Pours slightly hazy dark orange gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, orange, biscuit, dank hops, pine, stewed edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Oily, average carbonation. Old school goodness.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Amber gold colour, white foam head and aroma of citrus, pine, herby, hops. Taste is malty, grains, tangy, with citrus, pine and woody hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle, 0.5l. Deep copper pour, one finger frothy off-white head, good retention. Nice lacing on the glass. Nose is somewhat on the sour side, citric acid, citruses, hints of stale grass, some herbal notes. Medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, nice on the palate. Easily drinkable. Bitter taste with strong herbal aroma. Grassy hops, herbs and spices, citruses. Earthy notes, minerals. Lingering bitterness that slowly builds up, I like that, nicely balanced. Short to medium lasting finish, bitter. Good one.

Bottled 500ml. -Almost amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, herbal nose with whiff of meat. Sweet malty, herbal, light caramel and subdued meaty with mild bitter finish.

Clear amber, small off-white head. Mild hoppy aroma, spice, herbs and some fruit, hops seem a bit old. Light bitterness, hoppy flavours, light malts, dry finish. Watery texture, moderate carbonation, light finish. Light oxidation present. Not special. Might have been old.

Tap at the 2018 Croatian Homebrew Competition. They didn't complicate on this one - a pale ale called a Pale Ale. :D Hazy amber body with a huge white head. Berry notes in the light, dry aroma. Dry taste, light fruitiness, mostly the up front herbal bitterness. Aah, Silvije's homebrewing magic didn't transfer that well in this case to the commercial scale, but it's still a solid little beer and I'm glad to have tried it.
