On tap @ 6. Cameralov festival mikropivovarjev, courtesy of Saska. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and caramel. Pours almost black murky with thin creamy brown head and fair lacing. Taste resembles the aroma, there are licorice and grassy notes present, too. Full body, thick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Who needs oil? We need more imperial stouts!

Dayum these Slovenes been brewing lots a beer. This smells loke watery coffee with a rose muddled into it. Has no head and black porter typical body. Flavour is intense chocolate syrup and coffee with no finesse and a sweet finish. Just quaff it down. Abv is kind of subtle though, but there is a liqueur aspect to this. Maybe would work in shots during dessert.

On tap at Sir William's Pub's 20th anniversary. Pours thick dark brown, almost perfectly black without any real head. Intense chocolate aroma, pleasant milk and dark chocolate notes with some roasted coffee quite in the back. Taste starts sweeter with chocolate, finishing with gentle bitterness that's more pronounced in the aftertaste. Silky texture. The only deal is the alcohol is not at all hidden and it gets quite boozy and sharp - perhaps a bit over the top. But on the other hand, it will be interesting to see how this one develops after being barrel aged for about 10 months.
