A picture speaks more than thousand words, and our story in short goes like this: Love for quality beer and philosophy that people are the most important thing brought us together. The result is a collaboration beer called 55, which is a sum of our 25th and 30th birthday of Odell Brewing Company, one of the biggest American craft breweries.
We introduce maibock with 6,4% ABV and 36 IBU. It is available in the Medvedgrad brewpubs and Fakin Craft Bar. You might wonder why maibock in the middle of summer, but all will be clear once you try it, because it has high drinkability, with strong malty aroma and more emphasized hoppy character then other beers within this style, which is described as a German version of lager with higher percentage of alcohol.

(Keg at Tankerfest 2019) The beer poured pale brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel and toffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, grass, caramel, toffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A tasty but too sweet brew.

Hazy to unclear, orange-golden colored, medium off white head. Malty, light caramel, herbal hops, some honey notes, bit orange-fruity jam, plenty of butter, light+ bitterness, sweet finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Doesn't work for me...

Tap at Fakin. Misty orange-golden body, thick off white head. Malty aroma, herbal, touches, sweetish, bready, quite clean. Sweetish taste, vague orange, even bubblegum? But well integrated, lean, silky, mild mild alcohol touch but so well integrated. This is generally without missteps, simply a tasty, well made strong lager.
