Hazy straw colour with a short-lasting bubbly white head and sweet apples on the nose. Softly fizzy, sweet apples with bit of tart peel in the mix and an almost floral edge in the finish

44cl can from Conad, in Rimini, Italy. Pours fairly hazy, light gold, with fine white foam. Aroma is delicate of apples, plus something reminding natural wines and grapes. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is medium-high sweet, with an average final.

440ml can. Pours a cloudy dull yellow like used dishwater. Candy apple aroma. High carbonation on palate then dissipates. Sweet apple taste that rises but a slight bitter sour note at the end which is nice. Reasonable although I’m yet to find a really good cloudy apple cider.

Can, 0.5l, DelMart. Misty paaale chalky yellow body, big but fleeting head. Surprisingly pleasant light soft green apple aroma. The taste continues on like that too, vague green apple, soft and watery, silky, marred by a light alcohol/fermentation note in the finish only, making it the best Thatchers I've had so far. Not great, not terrible.

Keg at the Victoria Inn, Salcombe, 22/06/19. Pale anf hazy milky yellow with, for a cider, a decent lasting white cap. Nose is sweet apples, sugars, hint of pear. Taste comprises sweet apples, vanilla, pear drop, perfume. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Mediocre stuff ... not sure what they're trying to emulate here!?!
