Tap at the brewpub. Hazy amber body with an off white head. Clean maltiness and flowery hoppiness in the aroma. Malt-dominated taste as well, mixing nicely with the flowery notes and some bitterness. I mean, it's a nice beverage, drinkable, but hardly an IPA even by English IPA standards... So a classic Czech IPA, but more drinkable than most of the bunch.

Sampled on August 4, 2017.At Pivovar Kolčavka, Praha.From tap, Czech IPA 15 - Polotmavy Special at 6.5%.Slight hazy deep golden color to amber, off-white head with lacing. Malty, sweet, fruity taste. Fruity aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Fruity, caramel scent.6/4/6/3/12=3.1

Bottle at Beermalade tasting. Flowery, grassy hops profile, slightly fruity. Med-high bitterness. Sweet feeling coming arguably off the combined yeast and hops derived fruitiness. Good one.

Bottle at beer[malade]. Ornage golden color with medium white head. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus hops. Taste, solid malty caramel base followed by nice citrus hoppy bitterness. Medium long hoppy bitter finish. Good.

draught at the brewery. Deep golden with an amber glow, tall white head. Promising hop aroma. Full-bodied with a robust and grainy malty base, loads of aromatic hops, resiny, grassy and with some exotic fruit.
