Bottle, Bier Huis, Ossett. Hazy amber. Thick, bubbly, lasting, off white head. The nose is all Simcoe. Fresh, skunky, and a bit dank. Some toffee malts at the back. Taste is light bitter, with a fair amount of dryness. Palate feels unusually thin, and watery. Finishes light bitter, and light dry. Smells great, but after that things tail off a bit.

Shared 330 ml bottle, bought at Clove Hitch in Liverpool. Frothy pearl white head. Clear pale amber coloured body. Rich aroma of semi-dry citrus. Fruit hoppy flavours, lemon and orange, leading to bitter citrus shells on the finish. Easy to drink. Thirst quenching (hotel room, 02.02.2015).

Cask @Gallows bird, real ale festival 2015. Amber colored, thin white head. Glue, fruits, citrusy hops in aroma. Slight off notes. Nice body, caramel, apricots, citrus fruits in flavor. Sweet, full bodied. Despite the off notes in aroma this is good stuff.

Draught @ Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival 2015 Pours orange with a smooth head. Aroma of overly ripe fruits, sweet toffee, caramel and syrup. Taste is sweet, sticky and ripe fruity with some toffee and caramel. Finish is sweet and stuffy with some overly ripe fruitiness. Feels a bit messy.

Draught(!) @ Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival 2015
Aroma has toffee, mint, caramel and mellow berry tones. Flavour has berries, some gooseberry bush and mellow herbal bitterness. Also toffee and caramel. Decent, but perhaps a bit too much mint here.

Gravity dispense at Craft 100, CBC Clapham, 18/09/14. Almost clear amber with a well appointed off white covering that retains. Nose is citric rinds, candied sugars, pinch of spice, caramel, blood orange. Taste comprises orchard fruit, red grape, hint of apple orchard, caramel malt. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy bitterness. So so - lacks the hop presence to ride high in this style but not a total shit shoot.

Cask (Craft Beer Co, Clapham) - Copper in colour. Fruity and moderately hoppy aroma with notes of peach, sultanas and pine. Fruity taste with peach, raisins, sultanas and a hint of grapefruit. The taste is not as hoppy as the aroma. One of the more conservative beers I have had from this brewery, but certainly not bad because of it.

Cask (5.3%) at CASK Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico. Golden brown, clear, a bit of white frothy head. Grapefruit, pineapple, bit of soap in the aroma. Enticing, so I take a sip. Bitterness!!! Intensely bitter at first bit it fades to a fruity sweet during the profile. But there’s that soap again in the finish. Nevertheless it’s pretty good.
