Keg, half-pint in the BOD, Newport Shropshire, 3rd February 2023. Not quite clear golden pour, smooth white crown that faded slowly. There is something going on within the brew, a slight funky feel, it's not your normal UK Pilsner that's for sure.

Keg at The Rake, Borough. As 'House Lager'. Straw and earth aroma. Light gold. Foamy white head. Malty. Umami. Not much to it. Thin. Flat carbonation. Not overly interesting but not sweet.

Pale gold with with some decent retention. Aroma is sweet, grass, grain, light malts. Taste is the same with a slight lemon citrus note. Light to medium body with a carbonation between soft and sparkly. Finish has a moderate but long lasting bitterness. There is nothing here to set it apart from an average pilsner but its well made and I enjoyed it.

(Keg at Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival 2019) The beer poured pale golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, sweetness and grain. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A bit too sweet grassy brew.

Can on the train home, the mighty 12, 04/07/18. Light haze on a pale golden yellow pour with a decent white covering. Nose is pale malts, grassy, lemon rind, light herbs, bready notes. Taste comprises lemon tinged straw, pale malts, light spice, grassy, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine to prickly carbonation, semi drying close with a low lying hop dusting. Passable pils on a hote day.

33cl can from M&S, Bracknell. Served very cold after a hot afternoon of gardening, and just what was needed at the time, but probably uninspiring if tried on any other occasion. A slightly hazy pale straw coloured pour with a billowing white head at first, settling back to a thin film; grainy aroma with a hint of lemon; sweet lemony taste to start with some underlying sour grain; then no sign at all of any hops, but a touch of lime in the finish. I don't think that any Czech or German would be happy to describe this as a pilsner.
